Comadre é uma plataforma de arte contemporânea, independente e colaborativa que tem o objetivo de lançar luz sobre temas necessários da nossa atualidade através de projetos culturais e artísticos.
Fundada em 2023 no Rio de Janeiro, por Gabriela Davies e Maíra Marques, Comadre funciona de maneira nômade, sem sede fixa e com atividades que acontecem em locais urbanos, rurais e digitais, buscando repensar o lugar da arte.

Born in Rio de Janeiro (1993), Gabriela focuses on bringing art closer to the public, studying different ways to bring communication between the institutional space and its environment closer. She works closely with emerging artists predominantly Brazilian but with a global perspective derived from her studies in London.
Gabriela Davies was the curator and director of Galeria Aymoré (2016-2021), an institutional space focused on experimental Brazilian contemporary art.
She is also Co-idealizer and founder of Potência Ativa, together with Maíra Marques and Paula Borghi. Potência Ativa is an articulator of artistic-political-affective projects, bringing together artists, social organizations and the art market. They carried out the project Art, Female Noun.
Gabriela Davies has a master's degree in pink.
